How much does it cost to send an alert?

On an Android Smartphone, you will use your normal text messages to send an alert. If you are using an iPhone, you will start off with 50 free message alerts and then you can purchase:

  • 10 alerts - £0.79p
  • 50 alerts - £3.95
  • 100 alerts - £7.90

How do I connect the SOS App to Bluetooth?

  1. Open Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and turn ON.
  2. Connect the SOS Button to your phone by sliding the SOS Button upwards for 3 seconds whilst the app searches for the device via Bluetooth.
  3. The SOS button will appear as ‘SOS’ on your Smartphone - once visible select the device to pair it.

How do I sync my smartphone to the SOS button?

  1. From the home screen select the Settings icon
  2. Change the Application State from Disabled to Active by ticking the box.
  3. Click on ‘Device’
  4. Ensure the SOS Button is switched to the ‘On’ position on the side of the device.

How many emergency contacts can I add?

You can select up to 5 contacts to add to the App.

Can I send a text, email and voice alert at the same time?

Yes you can select 1, 2 or 3 of the following means of communication: text, email or voice alert.

How do I replace the Battery?

  1. Remove the battery cover by sliding it down and out.
  2. Remove the battery by lifting it out of its position.
  3. Once removed, insert a new CR2032 battery ensuring the positive (+) polarity is facing upwards.
  4. To replace the cover, slide it back over the SOS Button until you hear a click.

My SOS Button won’t send alerts to my contacts, what should I do?

The SOS Button App will need to be kept running in the background for the SOS button to work. If the App is closed it will not connect to the SOS Button.
